After watching the trailer of the movie, I was expecting something on the line of Tumbbad. Though it's unfortunate that I was thoroughly disappointed.
The movie is categorised as horror though it actually is not. It is rather a beautifully directed tale with a strong and harsh societal reality of the past and probably the present. It is a real feminism art, and mind it, not the pseudo one. Though the message is real but the movie itself is completely predictable and the ending, a slapdash. Overall it is pretty, but just an average watch. Nothing overwhelming.

All the characters of the movie had so much potential but it was not fulfilled. The story was not realistic. It portrays how justice finds a way but the reality is clearly the opposite. There are a lot of things in the movie that does not make any sense. The story was not unique in any sense. It was raw and left to the brilliant cinematography which could only support it so much.
It is not a bad watch but you can do something better with your time.
